Because no two rooms are exactly alike in a typical residential home, each room at Lorantffy is decorated or painted to be unique and of its own.  When residents move in, we encourage them to bring their belongings and decorations such as furniture, TV’s, pictures, and artwork.  

In cases where residents don’t have many personal belongings, the staff will provide television sets and other amenities to ensure residents feel that they have a special and distinct area of their own.

Every consideration is given to ensuring residents are absolutely comfortable in their surroundings.  And a large part of making sure a resident is comfortable is making sure they are safe and secure.  

Lorantffy Care Center utilizes a wander management system from ADT as well as a TV monitoring system.  In addition, all doors leading to the outside are alarmed.  

It is the Lorantffy Care Center policy to avoid the use of restraints or unnecessary physical determent actions.  Instead, we employ proactive measures such as wander management system, multi-level bed heights, bed and chair alarms, etc.
